Features to Look for in the a3 Colour Laser Printer

In most cases the a3 colour laser printer is bought for office use rather than home use. This is mainly because of the higher price, rather than the fact that the features would not be needed at home. In fact, the a3 colour laser printer may well be the ideal printer for high school or even primary school homework, since it would give the ability to print much larger work than A4 paper.

However, when it comes to office use of the a3 colour laser printer there are some features that would be needed that would not normally apply to household use. For instance, an office will certainly need speed of printing from the a3 colour laser printer to get through all its printing needs on any given day. They would also look for a quick warm-up time from the a3 colour laser printer. No busy office worker wants to sit around for minutes at a time before the a3 colour laser printer even starts up, especially when there is a queue behind them.

Page speed is also an important feature to look for in the a3 colour laser printer. Many offices have the need to print out hundreds of pages for the one print job and it would be just too painful – not to mention inefficient – to wait for ages while each page was printed.

And of course, there will be the need for a built-in interface for networking or sharing with all the other computers in the office. There is no point in even having an a3 colour laser printer if it cannot be used from every computer in the office
